Jim Garbarino has been at Florida State University since 1995 returning to his alma mater from CBS. Jim currently serves as Coordinator of Development and Outreach for the Digital Media Program for the College of Communication in addition to his Seminole Productions responsibilities. Jim is also a faculty member in the FSU College of Communication and Information, instructing digital media students as a part of the College of Communication and Information's curriculum. Garbarino is also a Certified AVID Instructor and has produced and directed over 600 TV shows for Network Broadcast as well as countless freelance and other visual communication projects. Jim has won over 70 national and international awards over the last 20 years for his producing, production and graphical work. A 1994 graduate of Florida State University, Garbarino earned his degree in Media Production with a minor in Film. Jim graduated with honors and was also a member of the National Communications Honor Society. Garbarino is a member of the Information, Display and Entertainment Association (IDEA), and the Sports Video Group.
